The FTC (Federal Trade Commission) wants me to let you know that Upkeepist contains affiliate links. These affiliate links will be indicated with an asterisk (*) following the clickable link.
For example:
- 3 tbsp gum arabic powder* (this is an affiliate link)
- 1/3 cup water
- natural kraft paper* (this is an affiliate link)
If you click on any link with an asterisk and purchase that item, I receive a commission from Amazon. You won’t pay anything extra for buying things through my affiliate link. Amazon pays me out of its pocket for recommending the product to you.
I only recommend things that I actually use and love. I won’t compromise my intention of giving honest and helpful information for the sake of making money.
This is why Upkeepist doesn’t have ads.
I don’t know about you, but I find ads super annoying. I’d like to learn how to make blueberry crumble without being blasted in the face by noisy videos and flashing images.
But I completely understand why websites succumb to using ads. That’s where the money is. Researching reliable sources, writing well-thought-out articles, and creating appealing images are all things that take time.
And, as they say, time is money. The time spent making content for a website is time that wasn’t spent hanging out with family or binge-watching television. Not to mention that it costs money just to maintain a website.
We all appreciate being compensated for what we do.
So, if you’ve purchased items through my affiliate links, thank you for helping Upkeepist stay ad-free. You are awesome.
